Ideally, we would all be able to sit down for hours on hours and meditate. Unfortunately, we all probably can't do that.
Personally, I always get antsy or my mind will go to different topics. Sitting for 5 minutes to meditate will start to feel like 5 hours.
Sure, it's easy to just not meditate. But we learned so many benefits to meditating last week. So this week, we're going to go over some helpful tips on how to meditate!
Here are a few tips to keep in mind when meditating:
Start small: start small by just sitting still for 2 minutes. If that goes well, increase by small amounts every week until you get used to sitting still!
Start early: meditate first thing in the morning so that you can be sure it actually gets done. It's a nice way to start the day.
Start meditating at the same time and same place: this will help you get in the mindset of meditating, and make it a part of your daily routine!
